A note from Joe:
"I started working as a plumbers helper when I was 15 as my Saturday job, also the Summers through high school. I picked up the mechanical end very quickly and enjoyed what I did. When I returned home from Senior week, there was a brand new Van sitting in the bosses shop for me as I became a mechanic and went out and did my own jobs. I realized shortly after this that this is what I want to do so I went out and worked for a few different plumbing and heating companies over the years, sometimes leading 12 men on commercial jobs as plumbing foreman. Eventually, I created my own business that is now Nittany Mechanical, Inc.
The best part of my job is seeing how happy people are with our work - we pride ourselves in always doing a clean, neat job... always done correctly! I oversee all of the work so I have visibility to everything that's happening. If there are every any problems, we always go back to repair immediately.
When I'm not working, Donna & I spend quiet time at the Hunting Camp 5 miles from State College. We also love to spend time in Bethany Beach (Delaware). I enjoy fishing and hunting, but my absolute favorite hobby is watching College Football in the fall!"
